What to do in Winter part 1

There are many things you can do in the winter as a cyclist, my favorite is buy nice shinny stuff for next years riding and racing. All the hard old riders will tell you it's not about the equipment and you should be out there riding good old steel heavy bikes and eating cheap tea and cake in little shops they have been to for years.. boring... So lets look at some cool stuff

This weekend New shoes from B2P in Windsor. after some typical  flapping about sizes and "have you got these in blue or green. we went with good old white and black. Bont .. my shoe weapon of choice for next year were selected based on power transfer, weight and the fit options that cooking the shoes gives.. yes that right you cook them and then where them, they mold to fit.

I cooked them 3 times and you can do this as many times as you want. it allows you to add in shape around sensitive areas of your feet, after many years of riding i have a few points on my feet that are affected by pressure, so a bit of tape and something to create a shape, i used some small ibuprofen tablets taped to my foot in a few places and then stepped into the hot shoes did them up and waited, then after they cool, tool off the tape and hey presto' pressure points in shoes to custom relief areas. i'll let you know how this goes when i ride, but they feel good on. check out the picks..
